Gravity is the force of attraction that occurs between all the particles that have mass in the universe. Gravity pulls everything in the earth's atmosphere to fall back to the ground with an average acceleration (g) 9,8 m/s2. For objects that have a size not too unusually large, the forces on each of these particles may be said to be parallel to each other. Therefore, the weight of the object is the resultant of all parallel forces. It can be proven that the resultant of parallel forces have a particular catch point (action point). This point is called the center of gravity (cg) of the object. With calculating the center of gravity on every object, humans can launch the rockets, design the planes, or even orbit the satellites for months. One of the government agencies that produce the rockets is Lembaga Penerbagan dan Antariksa Nasional (LAPAN). This research is discusses about the center of gravity and its application on a rocket produced by LAPAN, the rocket RX-450. Determination the center of gravity of RX-450 using simulation results with Solidworks software and direct testing in the field. The direct testing is done for five times. For the result of the simulation, the (cg) is 4.167,78 mm. While for the results of the direct testing, the (cg) are 4.165 mm, 4.165 mm, 4.162 mm, 4.161 mm, dan 4.165 mm for each test.
